Photoblog Re-designed
This is a brief announcement regarding the dofk photoblog. Spent the last week hacking the pixelpost code in order to re-design the photoblog layout. I hope that the result is more user friendly, and less cluttered. My goal was to make it appear more minimal, while also increasing the functionality of the photoblog. I’ve now added an archive section, which can filter the images by category. This should make the viewing of older material more convenient.
It’s worth noting that the most popular web browser, Internet Explorer, does not honour all the web coding standards. Therefore, the photoblog displays slightly differently when viewed with this browser. While there are no errors, the layout of the site is misinterpreted Internet Explorer. The site has also been tested with Safari for Apple OS X, and Firefox for Microsoft Windows. While it does work correctly on the most popular web browsers, I recommend viewing the site with either of the latter mentioned browsers, both are free, conform to web standards, and are more secure than Internet Explorer.
