“Fragments” ~ An Exhibition

The upcoming exhibition of my work, Fragments, will take place at Alpha Gallery, Namdaemun, Seoul. The show will run from November 18 through 24.

Right now I’m busy making all the preparations that need to be made, printing, framing, publicity, etc…, so there’s not much time to talk about the show itself.

However, the show will be a kind of goodbye gesture to Seoul, from me. Been here for a few years now, and the place has been great and inspiring. I’ve always sought after the essential with my work; I don’t think that I’ve found it though. I’m sad that I have to leave, because there’s a lifetime of work to be done here in Seoul, and after two years of photography, I was only really getting started. It’s been a full-time job for me, but this is how I feel about it.

In any case, I hope you will be able to make it to the show, if you’re around Seoul way. I’m going to try to be at the gallery as much as possible and would love to meet you.

By the way, if you’re familiar with Seoul, the gallery is right by the historical Sunglyemun Gate. Just walk under Gate 1, of the market, from the main road, and it’s on your left hand side.

Okay, watch this space for more info about the show…
